This is for the shutter-bugs, you won’t run out of ideas. The lake is merely a few inches deep which results in it appearing as if it is a thin sheet of water, thus, creating the mirror effect. Even with the desert’s dryness there is evidence of life here as flamingos, hummingbirds and even cacti are found here. It looks like an infinitely long salt lake. This makes it the world’s largest salt flats. It actually comprises of hexagonal tiles and salt formations that resemble tiny pyramids. Welcome to Salar De Uyuni, the world’s largest mirror!
